The 25 Building Blocks of the
Pyramid of Success

Block 1:  Industriousness
"In plain and simple English this means hard work. Very hard work. There is no substitute for very hard work when it comes to success." 

    This means that if you decide to put hard work into everything you do you will have a great chance of succeeding. It does not mean that if you work hard all the time your going to succeed it depends how much work your willing to put into improving and accomplishing your goal. So when you always do something make sure to give it your absolute best and do not let little things stop you if you fail make sure you get back up faster and stronger. Always put dedication into what you do and always show hard work no matter what that is the key to success. I will apply this to my daily life by always showing hard work into everything i do.  

Block 2: Enthusiasm

"It is the engine that powers all blocks of the Pyramid. It is why I chose Industriousness and Enthusiasm as the cornerstones of my Pyramid of Success. It is where everything begins." 

What is Enthusiasm? Many people may come up with multiple different answers  and give multiple point of views but i will give my point of view and thoughts on this. Well enthusiasm to me is when you actually put all of your effort into the job or task you are completing that day. It also is when you give your best even if you fail you do not give you just keep going and going until the goal you are trying to reach is accomplish. The way i will apply this to my life is by always showing my enthusiasm when i am doing any sort of work and i will not give up. So the question that matters is what you will do in order to improve and complete this rules.           
 

Block 3: Friendship

"Comes from mutual esteem, respect and devotion. Like marriage it must not be taken for granted but requires a joint effort."  

What is friendship? Friendship can be interpreted in many forms by many people it really depends on you and how your personality is  how your true character is depends on you. So friendship is when you are kind with your friend you are caring and honest towards them and you always treat them with the respect they truly deserve and you make them feel special and truly cared for and you never let small things get in the way of your friendship that is one form. Another would be that you guys love to insult each other might be like dont do that it is bad but that is your friendship it is unique and you favorite way of communicating. I will apply this to my daily life by always show friendship towards my friends. 

  

Block 4: Loyalty

"To yourself and to all those depending upon you. Keep your self-respect."  

The loyalty between people is always been the key to great communication and understanding one another. Loyalty should not only before people who are dating it also is important to be loyal to your friends and even yourself . You must learn to help your friend when they are in need of you because when ever you need help if your friends are loyal they will come to help you. Loyalty also is to learn self respect towards your self because you must learn to stay loyal to your friends and goals and future achievements. I will apply this to my daily life by always staying loyal to all my friends and family and my self. 

  

Block 5: Cooperation

"With all levels of your co-workers. Listen if you want to be heard. Be interested in finding the best way, not in having your own way. " 

What this quote simply saying is that you must learn to cooperate no matter if you get along or do not get along with the person. This key simply to state that cooperation is one of the key to success because this teaches to learn with any one even if you both have your own differences but what truly matters is that complete the assigned task and follow a correct life. But how is cooperation important you might ask? well it is important in many ways for example imagine your after a job that pays 150 hour and their is only 1 of this jobs available but the job task is to work with some one from the company but in reality you hate working with people so what happens then you cant get the job? so that is why it is important. I will apply this to my daily life by trying to be cooperative with my classmates.

  
Block 6: Ambition 
For noble goals 
What is ambition? Believe it or not their is multiple forms of ambition like only following ones self goals and other the negative ambition which would be to hurt other or get goals that are in the ways of ctr. The key that we are doing today is in the version of a good ambition. You might be wondering what is a good ambition? well a good ambition is a goal for yourself that follows the path of ctr. SO for example if my goal is to be a lawyer or doctor or teacher i am  willing to complete that career no matter what i am willing to give up hanging with friends or family but i am being ambitions by following my goals. I will apply this to my daily life by being ambition and striving to success. 
  

Block 7: Self-Control

"Practice self-discipline and keep emotions under control. Good judgement and common sense are essential." 

Is self control important? Many may think that more wild and outgoing you are the more opportunity life might present to you . Do not take me wrong being those things is not bad but when it comes down to things like that self control is honestly needed. The reason because if we do not have self control we will never learn to be calm and have things in order we will always act with pulse and will not give things a second thought. So i will apply self control to my daily life by always being responsible and showing my own self control. 

 

Block 8: Alertness

"Be observing constantly. Stay open-minded. Be eager to learn and improve."

Alertness is the ability to see your surroundings and what is most likely to happend in that period of time. Being alert in a short term is very important honestly for many crucial reason it test and proves to others that even though your in a rushed consigns you can still manage to pick the wrong from the right. This means that even though your in a great amount of pressure you will be alert if some one is trying to deceive you or if their is going to be a negative out come with the results. I will apply this to my daily life by showing that even though i am going to be under pressure i will manage to complete my task with out failure. 

  

Block 9: Initiative

"Cultivate the ability to make decisions and think alone. Do not be afraid of failure, but learn from it."

SO is initiative important in life? does it affect our success? How about are life goals and decisions? If you wondered about all the question above then it is OK i will explain what is the meaning behind all this. Initiative is required because lets you decide on your own so when the results come in you cannot blame others. Another great thing is that decisions are made on your own and when you decide for your self it teaches you the value of not being afraid of failing. Failing is what makes us humans every one has their ups and downs so do not be afraid of failing. I will apply this key by always trying to make correct decisions on my own and never been afraid of failing but i will always give it my best effort.
  

Block 10: Intentness

"Set a realistic goal. Concentrate on its achievement by resisting all temptations.  Be determined and persistent."

Intentness can be interpenetrated as many things by many people so the information i will give you today will be based of all this. This simply means that no matter what you are going to keep the eye on the price and will do anything to achieve success. This basically also states make sure that you dint give in to things so easily think to yourself is this really the best thing for me and then decide. So this mean that you always have to be on high alert no matter what you can not let the little things get in the way of your success. I will apply this to my daily life by always stay on track of what i am doing and striving for success. I always see intentness in the eyes of successful people which shows me they are always keeping a sharp eye.

 

Block 11: Sincerity

 Keeps friends 

Why is sincerity a important piece to keep friendship together? yes sincerity honestly is a big part is actually one of the most important parts the reason being because if you are not sincere none of your friend will trust you. Another reason is that it also is a way of showing kindness and how nice and amazing you can really be. The sincere friends of this world are as ship lights in the stormiest of nights. This statement means so much to me the reason being it shows why sincerity is important in keeping friends. I will apply this to my daily life by always showing sincerity to my friends and the people around me. 

 

Block 12: Adaptability
To any situation 

Adaptability is the key to success! The reason being it is important to able to adjust to anything. For example say that you have i a job interview or you are meeting your girlfriend parents but you are hesitating on going because you are scared that is the reason you want to learn to adapt to situation such as that. Never let emotion like that get in the way of success. How em i going to apply adaptability to my daily life? I will try to leave my comfort zone when it comes down to something important to my success i will attempt to always adapt to my surrounding and environment. By environment i mean the amount of money or how i am financial. 

 

Block 13: Condition

"Mental-Moral-Physical. Rest, exercise and diet must be considered. Moderation must be practiced. Dissipation must be eliminated."  

This can have more than one form that can be interpenetrated you can take it as physical fitness and mental fitness. Today objective will be to learn how to exercise our mind their can be multiple forms but we will also learn why it is very important to exercise our mind. The purpose will be to learn to relax our mind and to find inner peace we also have to learn to set boundaries that should not be broken no matter what. Some mental exercises are to learn to cook or a new language the abilities are endless. This is just so you learn to adjust to different scenarios which is very helpful for the mind. I will apply this to my daily life attempting to improve my mind set and ability. 

  

Block 14: Skill

"A knowledge of and the ability to properly and quickly execute the fundamentals. Be prepared and cover every little detail." 

Skill is a form or a action that is earned when one actually try and works over and over. Why are working for skills important? It is important because when you have a skill you earned you can work faster,smarter than other that have not strive for success. Skill are also meant to assure that you complete task at the act performance that is requested and expected you must cover every single aspect and detail. I will always have skills and try to improve my skill to the top of their performance. Skill are also knowledge in order to master a certain skill you must have the knowledge.

 

Block 15:  Team Spirit

"A genuine consideration for others. An eagerness to sacrifice personal interests of glory for the welfare of all."

This is one of my favorite keys the reason being that this key relates to teamwork which is important in any group in order to succeed and complete the task. Team spirit is a form of being happy to be part of that certain group and always giving it your best so all of you come out on top. Why is team spirit needed in a group? The reason is that if every one is working in bad terms it will never work out that is why you want to work in harmony as a group and every one giving it their best. I will apply this to my daily life by  by always cooperating with my group. SO that is why i believe that cooperation and group spirit or team spirit is very important to success and always come out on top.

 

Block 16: Honesty 
In thought and action 

What is honesty?the quality of being honest. What does that mean that if you want people to always show the truth or tell you the truth. You must be honest as well with them you cant lie or show fake love. So why is honesty so important in success the reason is that if people see the honesty in you they would be much more intrigued than in some one who lies or partially tells the truth. How will apply this to my daily life? I will choose to be honest all the time and tell the truth and only but the truth. You can also be honest by always deciding to show the truth and the honest repose. Action in honesty is when you take action in the part of honesty like if someone is lying you tell them and remind them to always be honest.

  

Block 17: Resourcefulness 
proper judgement 

What is resourcefulness? Well it is simply to have great time and precision when judging a certain situation and knowing how to handle it. The meaning also is the ability to find quick and clever ways to overcome difficulties. This is very useful in school and work life the reason being that their will always be certain situations when least expected ans wanted. So you and i must have the skills and knowledge to overcome these mistakes of life and lead are self to success.  How can i apply this to my and your daily life? well we can make sure to always keeps this key in mind so we stay at the top of our game and do correct precised decision. I will make sure to make correct decision under any situation.

Block 18: Poise

"Just being yourself. Being at ease in any situation."

Graceful and elegant bearing in a person.

Is it poison? or poise? Well it is poise which means that you are a kind person who only behaves like themselves and try not to be some one else. For example now a days people act like some one they are not just to try and fit in or being like. It also means that you are kind person and you are well respected by others and you always try and show the best parts of you and always avoid showing a disrespectful part of you. I will apply this to my daily life by always remember to be kind and showing the best and nicest part of me.

 

Block 19: Confidence 

"Respect without fear. May come from being prepared and keeping all things in proper perspective." 

Confidence is it really that hard to have? the reason is that many people have not learned to love them self's as who they are they try to act different from who they are. They need to learn to appropriate every part of them self's no matter what. Confidence is great because it motivates you to strive even farther than most people with out confidence would. This is one of the many benefits of having great confidence another benefit can be you never let any one or anything put you down so it means they cant get in the way of your success.

 

Block 20: Reliability 
Creates respect 

Reliability is it really that important towards success? well honestly it actually is for multiple good reasons. So why is it important? well because if you are reliable it shows respect and if people see you have a great respect and are reliable towards them they will trust you more or want to give you more opportunities. What if it is the other way around and you are reliable? well if you are then people will follow you and ask you for help then others will start to notice and want to provide assistance or sponsorship. I will apply this to my daily life trying to stay reliable and true to my promise so i will not let any people down. Also dont forget that it also reflects if you are trust worthy or just a big fake it also is or if you are also able to perform well.

 

Block 21: Fight 
Determined effort 

Before you think about this key no it is not a actual fight it is more of a short tern that means never give up. This is stating that you must learn to fight for what you like diploma,money,education ,and sure even a girl that can maybe be your future wife. This is not a pass for you to say oh i am going to beat that guy up or steel things or even cheat. This is just saying to fight for the things you want fair and square. I will apply this to my daily life by never giving up or letting certain task escape my grasp.

  

Block 22: Competitive Greatness

" Be at your best when your best is needed. Enjoyment of a difficult challenge."  

What is competitive greatness? Well their can be many things behind it for example this saying to always be the best version of your self. To always be your best even under pressure like when you are at a competition do not be moody and rude only because it is getting tough be a great person and be a sweet competitive person  butt also show that competitive side of you. This key is simply to say show the best you can be at all times without any excuses because if you dont maybe you can lose things like a job interview,friends,family. I will apply this to my daily life by always being competitive but also showing the best of me. 

 

Block 23: Integrity 
Purity of intention 

What is integrity? the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness.  SO what does it mean to me? Well first it means to always have pure intention by that i mean to never have inappropriate thinking or thoughts. It also can mean to have a good moral standard what is that? well it is to have any sort of feelings when doing something but you always put some one else feelings over yours. It also has one the best human qualities in existence which is honesty is what basically controls this world so in order to have integrity you must be honest. I will apply this to my daily life by showing the best i can be and being honest so i earn the right to have integrity.

 

Block 24: Faith
Believe and Achieve 

What is faith? complete trust or confidence in someone or something. This such term can be applied or taken into consideration in many forms such as faith can be put in your school partner or friend. This means that you completely trust them to complete the work that you hand them and have it ready by when the time line is due. Why is faith so important? the reason it is so important is because it a sure way to show that you trust in someone and their work or personality ethics. That you are not just someone who is selfish and only cares on their own success. Faith can help achieve any goals from small to the biggest goals ever it shows you to believe and achieve. I will apply this to my daily life by always having faith in humanity and every one around me.

Why do i think all of these key building blocks are crucial towards success? The reason is that their is many building blocks that can help lead towards success in many different forms but the ones that are the most helpful are... The first key that was my favorite faith the reason is that if you never have faith you will never achieve much even when things are at is worst you must learn to strive up and above most challenges and believe that you will always make it through. Another one that i really like was reliability the reason is that it teaches you that from time to time is fine to trust on another not just be to your self the reason is that if you can trust any one you are basicly by yourself. The blocks like reliable and faiths are the ones i have been applying at school and church. These blocks have lead me to live much more simple but effective life and they are great for everyday guidance. I will pass the information forward by everyday posting a certain block on my snap chat. I can incorporate by  writing a different block everyday as goal and to enforce them every single day.

7)Reflection: Would you like to attend here? Why? Why not? 

I would actually like to attend this school because its seems like a school every one would like to practice medicine at and feel safe and happy so yes i would love study medicine their i know it might not be the best school their but i still would love to go their.

                                  School Break Days  

    A)    What I did on my break was not that exciting i basically slept and played video games and stayed somewhat active. I also celebrated the holidays in nice big party’s with close family members. Then the last week of my break I started finishing up all my homework that was needed to be completed.

   B)    I went nowhere special just Bell CA that is really the only place I visited

    C)    I met so much new people when I would go to the park I met very nice older people and I met some of my cousin’s friends and I met my brothers Girlfriend  

    D)   I watched movies like… Crazy stupid love, Ouija, Naruto.

     E)     Some sports or events I participated in were soccer tournament, I played some basketball and some track running.

    F)   Well honestly the only CTR experience I had was staying away from trouble during the break.

     G)   The book I was reading was the “Child called it” miniature series.

    H)    The homework I did was just the IDP work I had to finish. 

                                                                 

                                                       Class Evaluation
  
1. My favorite parts about the class is the amazing teacher Mr.Haymore  because he is a very informative teacher . He helps us improve and make the best that we can be he makes us be much more productive. I also like the interesting quotes he always assigns  the class which for are personal development.

2.  Their is only one thing that i do not like about this class which that the class is just to short. It would be much much better if it was like 30 mins longer than what its is so we can improve exponentially. So that is the only thing i believe is truly wrong with the class everything else is great.

3.  Well i think this class in wonderful as it is but i think it would be better if you could show us a little more coding. That would give are knowledge a boost and would be beneficial so i think more coding hours. I mean at least 30 mins more so basically i want over 1 hr of coding.

4.  Honestly i gave this class like 90% of my interest so i honestly did give it almost my best but i didn't give it my full interest. Yes i did complete the work with a good state of mind i did not complain about it and just did it. But next semester my plan ill be to give it my best and attempt the best i can be and show my true colors.

5.  The highlight for this class was that i got to meet new people in such a great class. I also got to improve myself as a person and with the great quotes  my teacher provided me with. I also enjoy the amount of time we learned in coding which is going to help me in the future.

6.  Honestly i have not been going on life planning journal that often i only go on it like 3 times a week or less. I also dont go on my sharpen the saw one often but recently in class i decided to actually track my goals in my vacation. So this entire vacation i will improve myself by working on my journal and making myself better.

7. Yes i am very committed to staying a CTR person and staying in path of good and god i will always follow the rules. The quotes my teacher provides me gives me the morality to want to be my best and improve.  So i vow that i will give it my best to try and stay on the CTR path and only do good.

Key 1: Clarity

"Have vision. Determine what you want to be, do or have in life.  Have a sense of direction and know where you’re going.  If you do not have clear specific goals in life, you are doomed forever to work for others who do." 

           When this piece of advice states to have a bison and determine where i am going it means to visualize to show what i want to be.To see myself doing that certain objective and see my self succeeding and improving at trying to become that certain objective. Then it says to have a sense of direction  this means to know how your going to manage to arrive to your goal. So you want to know what your going to do like have resources and good  accomplishments and maintain grades things such as that.  What it means by if i do not know were i am going or what i plan to do to get their i am going to fail. This is saying that i must be ready to know what i plan to do so when the chance comes i can manage to accomplish such thing. I wont have to be stuck for someone else that wont ever lead any where.

   

Key 2: Competence

"If you commit to excellence, opportunities will always come your way. The harder you work, the better you get."

    What it means by if i commit to excellence opportunities will come my way is that if i manage to be productive and put in work. Multiple opportunities will show at my door with hard work that will come along side it but does chances will end up coming soon. So what it means by the harder you work the better you get is that the more effort you put into improving yourself the better things might turn out. If you put the time and effort into something instead of just slacking of you can seriously really improve. So how will i apply this to my life i will try to suck more opportunities and improve myself using this quote. I will also apply effort and time to my life and making it much better and try to improve on any way. 

Key 3: Concentration

"Make the best use of your time. Ask yourself “Is this the best use of my time?” before you start anything." 

This quote inspires me to do many things for example its saying to me to do the best time of my time so this stating that i should work as hard as i can with my time. Honestly because time is really valuable and we cant afford to be wasting it and doing all these useless things. So i need to make sure that when i am on the clock i am using my time wisely and trying to do the best i can possibly be. Also i must be sure to always be asking myself if using the best of my time wisely or i am just using it in something useless and pointless so that something that i also must figure out. I will apply this to my daily life by always making sure i use the best of my time. So i will start to always keep track of my time i will try my time to stop from procrastinating like a little kid i will act more like a adult. 

Key 4: Common Sense

• Train your mind
• think things through
• listen to your intuition
• learn from setbacks  

   This quote represents common sense by that it is showing us the basic structure of how to improve our state of mind. For example it is inferring to improve our thoughts and try to make them positive and to also always think with clear state OF mind. It also saying to listen to your intuition by that it is if your mind is saying something you do not want to ignore it you want to go along with it because it is your mind so it wants the best for you. My favorite one is learn from setbacks by that it means learn from mistakes and try to improve from them instead of putting your self down. I will apply this by following all these step which can lead to making me a much better person. 

Key 5: Creativity

"Except the fact that every human being is a genius.  The hallmark of creativity is asking questions.  The people who are most creative ask the most questions."

What is creativity? Is being inspirational in the worst of situation showing a smart creative mind in the best of moments. Creativity is very good because it allows you to express yourself and to not become boring like every one else these days. SO you honestly want to show how bright you can be with a creative mind and show that even fun minds can be smart and secure. So also be as creative as you possibly can dont let the things others do stop you do what you think pops . Do not do something that every one always does . Like mom and dad would say always do you and it is okay to be different never follow others.

Key 6: Consideration

"The quality of your relationships with other people will determine your success in life."

"Develop the people skills you need to become a better communicator.  Take courses in listening, speaking, etc."

"If you were to learn one new word a day, within 5 years, you’ll be the best educated person in history." 

What is consideration ? Many say different thinks but today i will give you my perspective of what is consideration. One meaning to consideration is putting others first showing that they truly matter and their worth helping. Another meaning can be to prevent fighting or using foul language with others or towards them that will show them how considerate you can really be and make them think is he or she a great person ? Also be considerate about yourself make sure to take pride in your education and give it your best and take pride of your parents and your family and friends. I will try to apply this to every day life by doing all of my responses above.

 

Key 8: Commitment

"No success is possible without commitment.  The ability to commit yourself whole heartily is the basis of achieving all success."

"Become totally absorbed in your work.  Be totally committed." 

This key is very important in every ones life no matter who they are if they do not have this key it is most likely the will never succeed. What is commitment? you may ask the fact that you keep trying and trying and you do not allow yourself from giving up when it gets hard. Commitment can be used in a sports and your education not only that even if you run a business. What helps is that you show how truly committed you are to succeeding and become the best possible version of yourself and you do not allow one single failure to ever take you down you just keep going. I will apply this to my life by never giving up and always keep going. 

    

Key 10: Confidence

"You only get confidence by doing things over and over again ." 

This is truly my favorite key out of all the 10 keys because this key is what helps you put together all the other keys and makes hold like a permanent super glue bond. You may ask why is this one so important? Well the reason behind this because you need confidence in order to do the other keys if you had no confidence then how would you be brave enough to do it you would not be  able to show courage. I will apply this to my daily life by showing confidence when i apply all the other keys to my life. But what really is important is that you do not forget the confidence can always benefit you remember every skilled at something so always have the confidence.

  

This keys in my point of view are great because they introduce multiple useful keys that i can apply to my daily life. One of those keys are confidence which is my favorite key because is the one that makes you feel good about yourself or in what you do so that why confidence is my favorite one. Another favorite key of my was common sense because it teaches me to be smart during my decisions and to always make a correct choice or judgment that why this key is a very important one. The last and final key was consideration because this key always teaches you to humble to always think about others before your self so this are my favorite keys of all three. I will apply this to my life by always applying this 10 keys in the best and worst of situations. So do you agree these are the best keys out of all the 10? 

                              The 7 Habits Meaning: 

The clip introduced me to a much better understanding into the design and meaning of the 7 habits. For example it showed how many book he had to read in order to come up with these habits he had read over 100 books. From famous love people like Gandhi, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln he said he found one key patter that kept continuously happening. This patter was that in these books it was not about  how much money they had or how famous they were it was about their personality traits and if they were people who were true to them self's. For example he stated that some people might be putting all these habits into use but in their own beneficial way they would take advantage of people. For example to manipulate and control someone this is not the whole point of these habit he wants people to have a kind hear with no bitterness inside. So truly these 7 habits mean something another example he used a ice berg he said that the tip of the ice berg is mainly just personality what he hopes the habits do is it improves the rest of the ice berg which will focus on characteristics. 

What i mean by car find of century is that  lucky couple found 180 classic cars in a farm house which was at the valued price of 35 million dollars.


    

This was really cool because i could never believe some one could ever find a collection as massive as this that was also worth so money it was so impressive to see so much money i one collection that what every car person hopes to find  and dreams of. But honestly it was unexpected for the couple it self how would you feel to find a car collection like that? Well the way i would feel is filled with tons of joy and happy but i would first start exploring the entire collection to see which i like first and i am going to keep then i will let my parents choose one but i would like to work on some cars with them and my entire family so yeah i would be pretty excited to see what i would find.
